Effective contact lens disinfecting solutions are an important component
in wearing contact lenses safely, and in reaping the greatest benefit to

Many excellent contacts solutions are on the market. Manufacturers of
contact lenses often recommend only using the disinfecting solutions they
sell for use with their lenses. It is important for consumers to know that
most brands of lens solutions work fine and are perfectly safe for use
with most types of lenses. If you aren't sure what lens solutions address
your cleaning requirements, talk to your eye care practitioner or
optometrist.
Many of the most popular lens solutions are outlined below.
AOSEPT Disinfecting Solution
Aosept lens solution is an excellent choice for people who tend to be
prone to eye sensitivities or eye allergies resulting from 'all purpose'
solutions. Aosept solution is formulated to be used with the cup and disc
storage system. Clean the lenses in Aosept lens solution, rinse
thoroughly, then place the lenses into the solution overnight. Use saline
solution to rinse the lenses well prior to reinserting into the eyes.
AOSEPT Disposable Cup and Disc
The Aosept disposable cup uses its platinum coated neutralizer to render
Aosept into an extremely gentle, preservative free saline solution over a
six hour time frame. The Aosept cup is designed to be used only with
Aosept Disinfecting Solution, and is used for lens storage during
disinfection.
AOSEPT Travel Pack
The Aosept pack contains microfiltered (3%) hydrogen peroxide, and (0.5%)
sodium chloride. The pack contains a disposable cup, and 4 fluid oz. of
sterile solution ideal for disinfecting and neutralizing contact lenses.
AQuify Lens Drops
These lens drops are unique in that they are blink-activated. Aquify lens
drops are designed to replicate the natural process of the eyes that make
tears. This helps the eyes to retain moisture, keeping the contact lenses
